MSS sponsors CFMA charity golf tournament

MSS employees Brad Price and Jennifer Tindal are members of the Charlotte CFMA chapter. They are pictured here with their MSS team for the annual CRMA charity golf tournament. Brad serves on the board as Chairman of the Education committee. The event yesterday raised approximately $20k which will be distributed to UNCC Business School and Construction Mgmt scholarship funds in fall.

Supporting The First Tee

We were thrilled to be part of the 3rd Annual Ladies First Luncheon today at Charlotte Country Club where we heard from Ann Clark, Superintendent of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, on the impact that The First Tee is having within our community.  They are a terrific organization doing wonderful things for our community and we love supporting their mission!

Diabetes Lunch and Learn today

Today we held a lunch and learn in our conference room called Diabetes Awareness, Prevention, and Treatment. The session was presented by Karen Pentek from CHS. Attendance was great and everyone learned a lot!

Cooling tower and chiller change-out

MSS worked on a cooling tower and chiller change-out over the weekend at 400 South Tryon. Here is an action shot of one of the cooling tower cells being lifted from ground level and hoisted to be set in place on the fourth floor parking deck roof of a building in downtown Charlotte, NC.

Volleyball tournament raises funds for Pat’s Place

MSS Solutions was proud to be involved with the Annual Six on Six Volleyball Classic today hosted by Beacon Partners and Childress Klein Properties. The tournament raised a whopping $125,000 for Pat’s Place, the child advocacy center in Charlotte. Our own Whitney Bauman enjoyed playing again this year with the CBRE team and helping to raise money for a great cause!

New Director of Operations

MSS is pleased to announce that Wes Dunaway will be joining our team Monday, May 4, 2015.  Wes will take the role as Director of Operations within the Capital Projects division.   His responsibilities include oversight of the field force and project management staff in the Charlotte territory. Mechanical Systems & Services Acquires HVAC Unit of Thompson Construction Group
