Lowe’s Corporate Headquarters Facility, Mooresville, NC


 

Challenge:

  • Construct a new 4,200-ton central energy plant, and fabricate and install HVAC, piping and plumbing systems for a seven-story, 750,000-square-foot office tower

Scope:

  • Fabricate and install a central energy plant and a 4,200-ton variable primary chiller plant
  • Install plumbing, piping, and HVAC systems for the office tower
  • Fabricate and install underground piping from the central energy plant to the office tower

Project Highlights:

  • All aspects of the HVAC met LEED requirements
  • Installed underfloor air distribution systems
